Abstract With the continuous development of the WeChat social platform, the knowledge-based WeChat community has become a new medium for learning and interaction among individuals. Based on self-determination, self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and self-value orientation theories, structural equations were used in this study to empirically analyze the relationship between user motivation for participation and participation behaviors involved in the knowledge-based WeChat community and master their relevance. As such, we plan to provide a guarantee for the healthy development of the WeChat community.
