Review of Academic Information Behavior Research Based on Contextualized User Profile |

Abstract This study systematically reviews the literature on academic information behavior based on contextualized user profiles both domestically and globally, with the aim of providing a reference for further systematic research in this field. Synthesis, induction, comparison, and other methods are used, and they are divided into four parts: related-concepts analysis, theoretical research, research perspectives and research methods, and application research. Relevant concepts are divided into contextualization, user profiles, and academic information. Theoretical research is divided into contextual theories, academic information behavior theories, academic information behavior theories based on contextualization, and user profiles. Application research is divided into context-aware services, information acquisition and knowledge acquisition services based on contextualized user profiles, and information recommendation services based on contextual user profiles. On the basis of combing the existing research, it is necessary to strengthen the theoretical research on the basic theoretical system, the user’s situational preference data acquisition, the information service model based on contextual user preference, and the successful practice case study domestically and globally.
